Dr. Amir K. Al Nizami is a project and program leader, consultant, and professor of project management with over 25 years of experience driving organizational transformation, strategy execution, and leadership development. He has led large-scale initiatives, advised executives, and developed programs that cultivate resilient, high-performing teams. As a lead faculty member, he is dedicated to mentoring future project professionals and educators and advancing innovative approaches to project, program, and portfolio education.
In addition to his academic and consulting roles, Dr. Al Nizami has served PMI for many years as a volunteer on the Standards Consensus Committee and as a site evaluator for the PMI Global Accreditation Center (GAC). He is also an accreditation site evaluator for ACBSP, supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement in business and project management education worldwide. Among other topics, he continues active research on high reliability and high-performance organizations, focusing on how project managers can strengthen resilience and adaptability in complex, evolving environments. A frequent conference/Symposium speaker, he has earned multiple awards for leadership and teaching excellence.
