Kari S. Sanders has over 25 years of experience with hardware and software development projects ranging from $250,000 to > $1 billion. Her experience spans the project lifecycle as well as systems ranging from optical payloads and spacecraft to satellite ground systems and manufacturing torpedo components. Kari holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics and a B.S. EE from the Colorado School of Mines; an MS EE from UCLA; and an MBA in Strategic Management from Regis University. She has been an active member of the Mile Hi chapter since 2013 – with roles including Speaker Team for Career Growth Workshops, Logistics Core Team for Symposium, Director of the North Professional Development Workshop, and Board of Directors – VP of Finance, and volunteering for WPML. In 2017, she published her first project management book, “The Power of Measurement and Prediction” and has published multiple children’s books about “Fuzzy Cat”. She is currently working on the ispace-US Mission 3 Lunar Lander as a Systems Engineer and Program Manager. This mission will deliver NASA CLPS and other payloads to the far side of the moon.
